21 November 2008  For the purpose of achieving its mission – promotion and development of civil society in Croatia, the National Foundation offers systematic support to the development of civil society on regional and local levels via several programmes: Grant Decentralization Programme, Regional Development Programme and Cross-Sectoral Cooperation Programme, which is implemented through IMPACT – European Centre for Cross-Sectoral Partnership.


Decentralization of Grants for Civil Society Development Programme

Within this Programme the National Foundation has decentralized financial resources planned for the tender for civil initiatives entitled “Our Contribution to the Community” to the regional levels, and has for this purpose signed agreements with four regional foundations which allocate the decentralized resources of the National Foundation via public tenders to interested organizations on the local level.


Regional Development Programme

By signing the agreement on cooperation with four regional networks, the National Foundation via those networks offers all interested local associations (both registered and unregistered) and civil initiatives systematic support in the area of informing, counselling and training available on local levels.


IMPACT – European Centre for Cross-Sectoral Partnership

With the Cross-Sectoral Cooperation Programme, implemented through IMPACT – European Centre for Cross-Sectoral Partnership in Zadar, the National Foundation aims to establish the first centre in the Southeast Europe region for training on cross-sectoral cooperation, building of cooperation and partnership between the public, business and non-profit sector. The aim is to give support to the development of cross-sectoral cooperation both on the national level and on the level of the Southeast Europe region.
